Have you ever had surgery? What for?
I have had a few surgeries, my first one was a tubal ligation in 1998. My then husband (now ex) didn’t want any more children, I didn’t want to do anything permanent, however, he won the argument stating that his diabetes would greatly complicate the procedure. About 2 months after our second son was born, I went in to a non Catholic hospital to have my “tubes tied” at the age of 22. My OB/GYN was a there and asked several more times if I was really sure. I said “yes” again. Long story short, I wasn’t done. I now have two amazing grown sons and an almost 18 year old BEAUTIFUL daughter thanks to some really incredible doctors.
Do I have regrets? A few, but every choice is a lesson learned. And every child… a blessing.
