Dark mornings greet me with the soft sounds of animals rustling awake,
The chill in the air fills my lungs – awakening my consiousness
Change is inevitable- so say the trees
The gentle sound of water rushing over rocks, bouncing off the shore
Moving along the familiar path with optimism in my heart
Listening to the symphony surrounding me combined with the rhythmic sounds beneath my feet
The beating of my heart – a metronome keeping time
Thoughts begin to form and circle my head like a movie reel
Times changing almost quicker than the season,
Struggling to see past the uncertainty and embrace the anticipation
Rounding a corner – a variation of direction – just like the seasons
Finding a calm to embrace, everything changes
Even the most jagged of stones will be smoothed
